It took months, but I made myself a) improve it, and b) finish it.
I feel kind of empty now, BUT WHATEVER, FF6 WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST FF, W00T.
And now I shall prove it by devoting hours of HTML to its mockery! Because. Because this is what I do, that's why.

Hello! I hope you are doing well. I must apologize for my tardiness; I have been even busier than usual these days, and somehow writing this note always seems to slip my mind! I am very sorry; however, my initial prompts were pretty much everything I would like to see, so the idea of expounding upon them seems redundant, not to mention difficult.
First and foremost, please be assured that I am easily pleased! I only request fandoms/characters I am dying to see. If you have already started fleshing out a story for me, please step away from this letter; I want to see where you go with that story. If you glanced at my initial prompts and something hit you, go for it.
If you are still wandering the dark streets, wondering what I would like to see, then please read ahead. But above all, I want to know that you wrote a story for me. If that makes sense. If it doesn't, I am sorry; I have shamed us both.

Jun. 26th, 2009 10:38 amI don't consider the random Fiends that make your life miserable spoilers, so I haven't been cutting them.
BY WHICH I MEAN, the White Rider ambushed me again, although this time I wasn't flying solo with Pyro Jack and thus caught the "you sense an ominous aura" message, and then spent a few seconds looking at my flashing encounter meter, wondering if I could hit the Dragon Cave ahead before he hit.
I couldn't. So for the second time in as many levels, I faced the Thing That Done Killed Me, and won! Quite literally because of Luck: the Luck Roulettes were Cannot Use Items (that worried me for a bit, but Ghoul did have Dia), Skill Demons Are More Effective (whatever; I'll take anything that isn't Enemies Hate You), Raidou's Attacks Will Whiff (didn't matter; my strategy was Delegate&Disappear), and Gain Extra MAG.
But the kicker was that this round, White Rider decided to Mamudo my ass time and time again -- and I was using Ghoul and Ippon-Datara, both of which absorb Death damage. So White Rider basically fueled the machines that gradually beat him down.
The only attack that did any real damage was Victory of Fire, but I had plenty of warning to hit L1+L2.
... Of course, now I'm thinking about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and going ARGH THERE WILL BE MORE OF THESE BASTARDS.
All in all, I think I should have gotten more than 1666EXP but that's just me.
PS: I also spent much of the battle holding L1+X, rolling around and running away like a sissy.
